(hide this warning on this page)The Infectious Diseases Core provides research support services for multiple investigators as well as clinical diagnostic services for multiple health care facilities. Since 1983, the Infectious Diseases Core has provided diagnostic services for multiple sexually transmitted pathogens and supports researchers investigating these pathogens as well as behavioral scientists who use acquisition of sexually transmitted pathogens as biologic correlates of sexual behavior. The Infectious Diseases Core is a Core Laboratory Facility for the Indiana Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute (CTSI).
